Gaines Does Well in Shortened Game

Details are sketchy and our Georgian is rusty, but it appears some sort of altercation shortened B.C. Armia's game with Tbilisi State University Saturday, but Sundiata Gaines' Armia came away with a two-point win and he played another solid game, scoring 13 points on 4-for-10 shooting and handing out five assists.

According to the B.C. Armia site, after "an incident" broken up by referees, "substitutes of both teams left the court and the match continued with five players". Gaines will be in Istanbul Tuesday to play Deron Williams and Besiktas in a EuroChallenge game. Armia has won five straight, Besiktas 11 straight.
