Farmar Leads Maccabi To Third Win

Stay connected for news and updates

Well, at least one of the Nets' point guards are doing well overseas  Jordan Farmar scored 19 points and handed out seven assists Thursday as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated KK Cibona Zagreb in Maccabi's home opener.  It was Maccabi's third straight win in the Adriatic League.

Unlike Deron Williams, Farmar is surrounded by some of Europe's top talent and is considered a championship contender in all three leagues it plays.  Farmar's coach, David Blatt, is also considered the best coach on the continent. Turkish fans have criticized Besiktas coach, claiming he is misusing Williams.
