How's the Rest of the Roster Doing?
The three Nets players under contract next season are playing well ...waiting for their "NBA out" to kick in. But what about the four Nets free agents who chose to play overseas for the entire season without an "NBA out"? Their stories are as varied as their backgrounds.
Dan Gadzuric hasn't played yet, and according to his Twitter feed, is still finding his way around Jiangsu, China. Ben Uzoh's career with Lokomotiv Kuban in the Russian United League came to a quick end. He scored two points in two games, playing a total of nine minutes, before parting ways this week. Mario West, on the other hand, is averaging 16.8 points and 4.3 rebounds for Tezenis Verona in the Italian "B" League. Sasha Vujacic may be doing the best of all, shooting nearly 50% from deep and averaging 12.8 points for one of Europe's best teams, Efes Anadolu.

alas, he was not on the roster
A second round choice out of a football school, Veal has made $20 million in his career, been to six Eastern Conference Finals, four NBA Finals, won a ring with the Celtics.
He doesn’t have one iota of the talent that someone like Sean Williams has…and yet.
"It's as sweet as it ever was, I'll tell you. Now, hopefully, we started something and we can win some more championships, but we're going to enjoy this one right now. Have a little champagne." --Julius Erving, May 12, 1976, ABA champion Nets locker room.
He has his legacy all planned out
