Armor Open Tryouts This Weekend
Stocking Springfield moves into high gear starting this weekend. Over the next two weeks, the Armor will be holding open tryouts, waiting on last year's players to decide whether to return and preparing for the November 3 D-League Draft, which will go eight rounds via conference call.
Several dozen prospects will be on hand this weekend at Springfield College (where Dr. James Naismith invented the game 120 years ago) for the local tryouts. October 31 is the deadline for returning players. On Friday, the Armor announced three of last year's players, including Clippers call-up JamesOn Curry, will be back. No decision yet from Scottie Reynolds.

Can they play in The Rock?
If the whole season is canceled, might as well see the Armor play.
Locked out.
good idea
Will the games be broadcasted on NBA TV and website? I hear they may have some available airtime this year to fill.
good question

TV?
Will NBA TV run D-League games, while the lockout continues? On Monday, I think STERN cancels the second two weeks of the season. It would be a predictable strategic move. This will put so much pressure on the players, that non-zillionaire players will be ready to shoot Derek Fisher. Missing two paychecks, with three ex-wives and child support payments, and an entourage of hangers on, I think the players fold by the end of next week.
