Mark Cuban appeared again on ESPN's PTI with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon yesterday. In the interview, Cuban gave his latest assessment of Mikhail Prokhorov. When asked what is Prokhorov like? Cuban replied, "He's a great guy. I mean, he's hysterical. He's quiet. He's a lot more quiet than I expected. Um. But I really enjoyed spending time with him."
Considering Cuban's comments about Prokhorov back in December, this seems to be a 180 degrees turnaround for the Mavericks owner. If the "Big General" could make such a big positive impression with a guy like Cuban might it be possible that he could get Carmelo Anthony to sign an extension with the Nets if Denver comes calling?
However, Cuban pulled no punches at the end of his remarks about Prokhorov by hinting at the superiority of his Mavericks over our Nets.
