During the 2009-2010 season the Nets realized that "anything that can possibly go wrong, will go wrong." This season, Troy Murphy is realizing the same thing. Now how can Billy King make his life (and the Nets) better?
The NBA trade deadline is February 24th. Bleacher Report throws out 10 names for us to consider:NBA Trade Rumors: 10 Players the New Jersey Nets Should Swap with Troy Murphy
However, according to Murphy's Law, if a trade isn't forthcoming (and we all know how that Carmelo thing went down) then at least something is going right as Pete Caldera of The Record reports that Damion James is up and around.
Johnson said James will accompany the Nets on the two-game trip to Indiana and Milwaukee that starts Friday.
"I like to see our rookies as much as we can," said Johnson, who added that James could return to the floor as early as Feb. 14, against San Antonio.
Maybe we should just keep Murphy's expiring contract and see if James is the answer to this season.
