Videos Show Arena Walls Going Up; Work Is "First Major Construction"
Amateur video shot by critics of Atlantic Yards as well as news videos show for the first time foundation walls going up around Barclays Center. Since work began on the arena, construction has been largely confined to excavation and infrastructure improvements, like upgrading electrical, water and sewer lines. An ESDC spokesman called the latest activity, which includes work on an arena subway station, "the first steps of major construction."
The video and other images also show demolition scaffolding around the two remaining buildings on the arena site, one of which was once the home of leading critic Daniel Goldstein.

I am pretty sure that this video will get Carmelo so excited that he will force a one sided trade to the Nets.

It's pretty sad
that we know it as routine for Isaac to come here ranting every time there is a post related to Brooklyn. :(
Consequences will never be the same.
I still wonder how long it will take for Goldstein's building to come down.
And how that will effect the construction time line.
New collective bargaining agreement is simple. Give small markets a larger share of the national tv revenue sharing pie, limit MLE's to teams under the lux tax threshold, allow owners to terminate one deal every other year provided players have played at least 3 years on it and limit raises to 5 and 10%
Hopefully they record it
Would be good to see.
I know when it will come down
When the Mets can finally win another World Series.
nothing i’d want to say to those of you calling for a “rant” is suitable for this lame site. Enjoy your corporate wannabe Knicks arena you impostors.
My computer froze on the 2nd video, so I'm staying away.
Still waiting to see the largest wrecking ball for the upper floors of Goldstein’s building once they dismantle what ever they are required to do.
If you are really impatient on this
I suggest asking for Osama Bin Laden to tear it down, because he can guarantee it within one day like he did with the Twin Towers.
Jesus Tal, what does one have to do with the other?
Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum

Sarcasm
Do you really think that anyone would want a terrorist to be in charge of the demolition?
No way this arena gets built, no chance
