Just a quick FYI... I have never started a thread before so my apologies beforehand if its not up to par... I just want to know if I am the only one or are there more out there that have shared this experience.....wish me luck here I go....
I went to the open practice for the NETS earlier today and I gotta admit the team looks good. However my experience with the organization has been one disappointing moment after the next. I guess they are right because "its all new" to me. Before I get to the disappointment from the organization, let me start out with some good news. Twill was amazing, Outlaw had some decent moments, and Farmar looked like the starting PG (not saying Harris was doing horrible, but Farmar played\practiced a lot harder and you could tell) and overall the team looks good. Their mechanics seemed to run smoothly, especially when the coach yelled at them, telling them what to do and they did it. I'm sure there will be some videos of it posted somewhere..... Now the bad news, which I couldn’t believe actually happened. The organization had promised a autograph session with some of the players and believe it or not they even gave out blue and yellow wristbands. After waiting in line for like 45 minutes or so I get to the front of the line, just to be told no more autographs go home, they could have announced that there would be no more signings after a certain time but nothing . I couldn't believe it. I was like what?!?!?!? no way... They went on to say that there will be other sessions at other times and I was dumbfounded.... I love the NETS and have loved them for as long as I can remember, but man how can an organization that did soooo horrible last season be so cruel and unjust to their fan base... I mean the guy behind me was more displeased than me. He said "I was about to purchase season tickets and your telling me no, I am never going to buy a ticket" and poor guy was right I mean come on now he had two little ones with him. Anyways, I just hope that this coming season that the team does not break its promise as easily as the organization has done so far with some of their fans.
