Simmons Signs With Spurs
Then there were three. The Spurs have signed Bobby Simmons to a non-guaranteed training camp contract, leaving only Josh Boone, Jarvis Hayes and Trenton Hassell still unsigned from last year's 12-70 squad. With training camp now underway, it's unlikely Boone and Hassell will be signed to an NBA contract. The Nets retain Hayes' Bird Rights and tried to include him as a sign-and-trade in the four-team Carmelo Anthony trade.
Of the 14 on the Nets roster at the end of last season, four remain with the Nets (Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Terrence Williams and Kris Humphries), two are with the Bucks (Keyon Dooling and Chris Douglas-Roberts), two are with the 76ers (Tony Battie and Chris Quinn), and one each are playing with the Spurs (Simmons), Wizards (Yi Jianlian) and Rockets (Courtney Lee).

Good luck with that bum. One of the worst players ever to put on the Red blue and white. He has the nerve to say he was a better player than RJ!! hahahaah clown!
Just goes to show how little talent LFrank had to work with these past years. Wow. Boone got significant minutes with us as did Hayes. If I remember right, Boone started two years ago. Hayes played 25 minutes a night. And don’t forget Yi who was a major player. Wow, are talent and depth is much improved.
You should stop at....
How little talent LFrank had……..RJ ’s a turd but I think Simmons may get put to good use…..I still would not mind Boone or Hassell on our team…..
