Seeing how all of the rumors regarding the Melo blockbuster trade has Favors as the primary piece leaving our Nets I was wondering what some of my fellow Nets fans were thinking about this whole ordeal. I believe Derrick Favors' floor is Tyrus Thomas. A player who can block shots and rebound but certainly someone you would trade in order to get a player like Carmelo Anthony who is a top 10 proven player and superstar in the NBA. However, Derrick does have ALL the tools to become an excellent allstar type power forward for many years to come. He has the humbleness and coachabilty that is required in order to achieve great heights. He also is confident in his game comparing himself many times to KG, Amare and DH12. Avery Johnson, Sam Mitchell and Billy King have said great things about him.. According to them DF has got "it" to become a star player in this league. I would LOVE IT if the Nets could somehow keep Favors and Lopez but it doesn't seem possible.  So what's your opinion?
