You gotta have heart?

I been getting the distinct impression from Nets management , that they worry about Favors "motor". When I was young they used to call this his "heart". Thorn worried about Favors "heart" before the draft, and I heard college pundits also question his drive and focus when in college.

If the Nets trade Favors it might mean the Nets also wonder if he has the drive and toughness to excel in the NBA.

Remember last week when Billy King was quoted as saying that he thought bringing in Murphy might of lit a spark under Favors. Sounds like they want to get him going harder. Avery Johnson even was quoted several days ago about admonishing Favors, telling him to his face, "Who told you, you were not going to start?".

If Sam Mitchell, Popeye Jones and AJ don't think Favors has that drive and ambition, and toughness required by all great players, maybe that will be the reason Favors is traded.

Where there is a "spark", there's smoke, then fire, then a fire sale.

What do you guys think? Is Favors too soft and laid back or is he just very young and needs time to mature.

P.S. I do not like the idea of trading Favors, even for Carmelo, but I'm just trying to figure out why Nets management would.
