It appears that the Nuggets may make a Melo trade sooner rather than later. There have been multiple reports that Derrick Favors is part of any deal involving the Nets, and this would be a major change in our rebuilding strategy. Carmelo would certainly help us right now, but Favors could be the stud power forward that our team has lacked since Buck Williams (sorry DC). And at just 19 years old, he could be doing it as a Net for the next 15 years. It's a given that we would have to cough up multiple #1 picks and other assets for a top scorer like Carmelo, but is adding a guy who was just picked #3 overall too much? What do you think?
