Orlando Summer League Game 4 - Nets vs. Jazz - Thurs., July 8, 5:00
The Nets will get their first look at Gordon Hayward, the Butler hero, Thursday, when their summer league entry faces the Jazz at the RDV Center in Orlando. The 6'9" swingman has played well, particularly late in the fourth quarter. Two other members of the Jazz roster may be familiar: Bernard Robinson, a 6'6" defensive specialist played parts of two seasons with the Nets and Rod Benson played for the Nets summer league team two years ago but is best remembered for the "Boom Tho" Movement.
Meanwhile, the Nets have two of the summer league's top scorers--and best all-around players: rookie Damion James and sophomore Terrence Williams. James, who's showing both good defense and a wide repetory of shots, says Avery Johnson told him he might get some minutes at SG as well as SF.

This is what we should be talking about...
… a NBA-ready scorer and defender at the SG/SF position, who doesn’t require the world to kiss his bottom. We got a keeper here.
not "that" Jersey Shore...Point Pleasant, 10 refreshing miles north of Seaside.

I hope this guy is the real deal
Even though Summer League should be taken for what it is, young guys trying to prove themselves, I really like this guy.
