LeBron or no LeBum, our team is still solid. Harris is good, he has proven it and the fact that his own fans doubt him is borderline pathetic. Have faith in him and support him. Lopez will grow, hopefully his defense improves along with his muscles. Lee is solid, and maybe his scoring comes around. Favors, depending on how this free agency pans out, could get some serious looks during the season and he will make some highlight plays. We are not going to be the same team last year, in fact even without a LeBron we can make a run at the playoffs. It was an off year this past year, and the prospects look good for this year. With Lebron we are looking at
without him we look like
Twill (or a free agent)
if we dont get LeBron, which i am not banking on, but will be pleasently surprised if he lands with us, I would like if we didnt sign boozer. I just dont like him, and dont want to throw 80+ at him over 5 years. I think we would be better off signing players such as Haslem and Kurt Thomas for frontcourt depth, (which is one of our weaknesses). Frankly i think its a bit naive to think humphries is a good frontcourt player, but you are entitled to your opinion. If we can snag a nice veteran backup front court player, not only does he provide production, but can mentor the young guys.
3-4 years from now, the favors/lopez tandem could be one of the best in the league, as long as one of them learns to knock down 15-20 footers.
Oh and as for the Twill future PG speculation...dont be ridiculous. the guy is a fantastic passer from his position just like lebron is, let him play the position he was drafted as and has been playing. He is by no means the future point guard of this team.
The point is, LeBron or no Lebrick. We are in good shape
