Orlando Summer League Game 3 - Nets v. Magic - Wed, July 7, 5:00
Following Tuesday's productive win over the Pacers, the Nets face one of the Summer League's weaker teams, the hometown Magic, in the Orlando Summer League. The Magic have one first round pick on the roster: Kentucky big man Daniel Orton, who has yet to get untracked and will be facing Derrick Favors.
The Magic do feature a father-and-son combination: coach Patrick Ewing and his son, Patrick Ewing Jr., who's trying to make an NBA roster after failing to get on Dad's old team two years ago. Also, on the roster, former Clipper lottery pick--and CSKA Moscow player--Yaroslav Korolev and Sonny Randle of Cal who Lance Stephenson abused two days ago.
- Orlando Magic Summer League Roster - Scott Schroder - Ridiculous Upside
- Orlando Pro Summer League, Day Three: What To Watch For - Evan Dunlap - SBNation
- Patrick Ewing Jr. Develops Under Father's Coaching - Tim Povtak - Fan House
- Daniel Orton struggles in Magic's 2nd summer league game - Josh Robbins - Orlando Magic

I want to see favors go off. He seems so passive about getting position in the paint. I think Udoh may be a keeper though.
WHAAAT?
“so passive about getting position in the paint”
Did you actually watch a single game? Favors battles every time in the post and sets up nice position for getting the ball, but he does not get it often, because only one player can pass on that team. When he doesn’t get the ball he quickly sets up high picks for guards.
Example of poor passing is when at the end of Pacers’ game Favors found himself alone under the basket with hands in the air. D. James had almost 5 seconds to get him the ball but didn’t do that.
Favors will be just fine. You’ll see. Work ethic and sound defense already there.

It's hilarious how Chris Mannix gave Orlando an A and gave us an F for the draft
Orton lookin good huh? Ejection and a non-factor of a game.
