Sometimes forgotten in the conversation is the fact that at times late last year, T-Will was the best player on the floor. For EITHER team. If he continues to progress, he may be one of the most valuable guys on the roster. Especially if he improves his mid range game. In T-Will, I see a guy that is Wade-lite. Physically, I don't think there's anything separating him and Wade honestly. What T-Will lacked last year was maturity (and a consistent jump shot). I'm greatly encouraged by the early reports that he's taken this off-season seriously and is embracing his role as a leader of the younger guys on the team.
At one point last year I posed the question, "is this T-Will's team?" Time will tell. But if he continues to improve he has a very high ceiling. He's one of the reasons that I'm no longer sweating this free agency malarkey. Whether we get, Bron, Bosh or Bobo the Clown, I don't care. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing the development of our core young guys.
