Nets Adding to Brooklyn Sponsorships
While construction trucks are creating daily traffic jams in Brooklyn, the Nets marketing team is adding sponsorship deals at Barclays Center. Willis Insurance, owned by New Jersey sports entrepreneur Joe Plumeri, becomes the 11th major sponsor at the arena, with four more stlll open. Each major sponsorship deal is worth between $1 million and $3 million each, reports Sports Business Journal. Barclays itself will pay $10+ million annually once the arena opens in 2012.
