Too Excited, Too Fast?

When we all found out Brooklyn was actually going to happen and then our savior Proky took over the team, us Nets fans seemed to get very excited, very quickly. And rightfully so at the time. Our new owner put up a gaudy billboard pronouncing his, and the Nets' arrival as a real froce. We were all feeling very confident about the future and thought players would be so attracted to the Billionaire, the BKLYN move, etc...But things have changed in my opinion. We "lost" the lottery (i know, its luck), got no FA's, (according to a recent SI article LeBron never considered the Nets, the meeting was just out of respect ) and now we hear CP3 has a list of a bunch of teams he likes that does NOT include the Nets. Is anybody else worried all the great things we got excited about, mostly Prokhorov, may not be as attaractive as we thought? It's a stars league and its becoming painfully evident big stars still are not giving respect to this team. Proky talks a big game, says he wants to go global, but right now this team is not even..."national." If the Knicks end up with Paul, that Blueprint Billboard is going to just be embarrassing.

So are you guys concerned we all got a little too excited to fast? Do you think Proky really will be able to come through as he promised?
