Heat Targeting Dooling, Quinn
While the Nets have signed six free agents, including two partially guaranteed deals, none of the team's own free agents have signed elsewhere.
That may change soon. The AP is reporting that "Keyon Dooling and Chris Quinn, both former Miami players, are targets" of the Miami Heat. Dooling is a South Florida native.

So they either
1) Sign a guy who couldn’t get major minutes on a 12 win team or
2) Sign a guy who was cut by a 12 win team
I like where this is going…
while i won't downplay Keyon like that....
…yeah. Basically, we all knew that they would have to scrounge through the scrap heat to fill out their roster. God bless them if they get hit with a rash of injuries
Honestly, if Miami doesn’t win this season, the backlash and pressure will be out of this world. Especially if the CBA changes and they won’t be able to exceed the cap to sign FA’s

Good for Keyon and Chris
They can both knock down the 3 point shot. It will be like shooting practice with the space they get. 50 per cent shooting? Keyon can afford the paycut since the Nets owe him $.5M, he should sign short term since he will be worth more if his hips are good.

If Keyon can stay healthy, that's a solid pick up for the heat

Keyon is a great player who was a class act
Chris Quinn will worsen the team..the guy was horrible
So.....
Why don’t we keep Keyon as our Vet Point Guard ?…..I’m lost here….
