Swapping #3 for #7 with the Pistons?

Chad Ford reported that Detroit is really desperate for one of the top big men (Cousins/Favors) and would like to trade up. I hate the idea of either one and have been praying the Nets trade down. A while ago i was throwing around ideas about trading with GS, but lets consider the Pistons.

Talked with some of their fans about what they would be willing to give up and they had a few pretty intriguing proposals.

They understand that we have cap room to consider, the requirement being that we're not taking back any long term deals, and we must be $17mil under no matter what, so there is room for about about $10mil .

The worst salaries that came up was Price, 1 year 11mil. I personally would be OK with taking that on. Maxiell 2 years $5mil + a player option. Trading for either or both would involve them taking back Yi/Humphries which they seem to be ok with.

They are also willing to part with Jerebko, and i would gladly give them CDR.

The main incentive would have to be youth with potential. Some Net fans liked Daye and Pistons were willing to offer him. I personally dont. What i want is a future 1st rounder. And pistons fans were willing to give that up, even an unprotected one but not all.

Here is the last idea:

#3/Humph/CDR for #7/Jerebko/Prince/Future #1 (2011 top 5 prot, or 2012 unprotected)

AT #7 we'd have our choice of:

Wing: Wes/Aminu/George/Henry

Big: Monroe/Udoh/Davis/Patterson.

Depending on what position you wanna try to fill.
