Have Nets Made an Offer to Qyntel Woods?
Quyntel Woods was in last week for a workout...and Avery Johnson said nice things about him and his newfound maturity.
Now a Polish website quotes Woods' agent as saying the Nets have made the Polish League MVP an offer, but there's been no decision on whether he'll take it.
It's possible the 6'9" Woods has an offer like the one Julius Hodge got two summers ago: a non-guaranteed vets minimum contract and training camp invite.

I have no problem with this
Not really impressed with 32% 3PT in the euroleague, but if Avery sees something, let him try out for the team.
We are desperate at the 3 right now.

If we pick up Jordan Crawford with the 27th pick I think we have helped with our need for a 3pt shooter, he can shoot from deep! check this out:

I think with time he can become a really good player and maybe take starting job from clee if we don’t pick up another guard in free agency
I agree. I’ve said that that’s who I wanted all along.

So let me get this straight....
CDR was an unwanted attitude problem not worthy of potentially influencing our young talent, but Qyntel Woods, the dog killing and human assulting 29 year old Polish league 32% 3 point shooter is A-OK?

It all comes down to Twitter...
He could kill 3x the amount of dogs as CDR as long as he doesn’t complain on Twitter…

The problem isn't twitter or attitude
It’s that CDR isn’t any good.

Were you saying CDR wasnt any good when he was starting under Frank? He seemed pretty good then, and considering he is only a second year pro, it seemed like he would continue to improve and gain consistency. Once Kiki took over, the structure was gone and the wheels came off. You should never sell at the lowest point and thats what the Nets did with CDR. He was making less than a million, best of luck finding any kind of bench production that CDR could have provided for 850k.

This
hopefully its not a guarenteed offer
just an non guaranteed offer to see what he can do in the summer league and summer camp. I’m fine with that. Maybe he can play a “Matt Barnes” role for us
Why don't they just sign Michael Vick???
Please tell me this is a late April Fool’s post. As if this despicable organization didn’t have enough reasons to be ashamed of itself. This can’t be serious.
and did you know

This may be because of confusion within the organization. In Europe, he is confused with Lebron. http://www.slamonline.com/online/other-ballers/international/2010/04/polands-lebron/

Its news because...
We trade CDR for a future nothing, and show no interest in the 18th pick in the draft which is traded for Cook ($2mil) and #32. All in the name of saving pennies, yet we’re talking about having interest in Woods and Scalabrene. How backwards is that?
Sounds like business as usual
and the scalabrine talk is hilarious. What are they gonna sign him to do at this point, hand out towels and refreshments?
