In an interview with Baptist Press Sports, Chris Douglas-Roberts talks about how his faith got him through the difficulties of a 12-70 season with the Nets.  BP Press quotes CDR as saying prayer is part of his game plan.

"I pray every day because I know if it wasn't for the Lord, I wouldn't be in this position," he said. "He has given me the ability and opportunity to reach my dream. I feel like praising Him. It is a no-brainer."

BP Press also notes that one of his tattoos, the one scrollling down his shooting arm, consists of words from Psalm 37:3-6, the one that begins, "Do not fret because of evildoers, Be not envious toward wrongdoers".
