Brook Lopez Gets Six Votes for All-NBA Team

Stay connected for news and updates

Let's put it this way...if the NBA had an All-NBA Sixth Team, Brook Lopez would be on it.  Here's another way to look at it...only two players younger than Lopez got any votes, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose.  But the bottom line is that Lopez received six votes for the All-NBA team.  Of course, that's six more than any other Net received and as many as Paul Pierce and Josh Smith tallied. Vince Carter didn't get any.

Not surprisingly, the first team was comprised of LeBron James and Dwight Howard, who both garnered 610 votes; Durant, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane WadeDirk Nowitzki led the second team.
