The Nets will begin workouts for draft prospects Friday and although none of the top candidates for the #3 pick have been scheduled, several of those who could fall to the Nets at #27 or #31 will be in.

Of the six invited, three are viewed as low first, high second round candidates: Tony Gallon, Oklahoma's 6'10" PF; Dominique Jones, South Florida's 6'4" SG; and Larry Sanders, Virginia Commonwealth's 6'11 PF. Also on hand, Lance Thomas, national champion Duke's 6'8" PF. Thomas, a senior, is a Jersey native and St. Benedict's grad.

Sanders is rated the highest on the mock drafts, placing as high as #17.  Gallon is rated as low as #34, but ESPN currently has him going to the Nets at #27.   Sanders and Jones are featured on the Nets' website's Draft Prospects page, which has thumbnail sketches of 33 potential picks.
