Dolan Says Bring On the Big Russian
James Dolan and Mikhail Prokhorov couldn't be more different. For example, Dolan hasn't spoken to the media in two years. Prokhorov couldn't stop talking to the media over two days. In a statement (of course), Dolan welcomed renewed competition between the Knicks and Nets, "which will hopefully feature two winning basketball teams." Dolan was responding to Prokhorov's promise to "turn Knicks fans into Nets fans." Meanwhile, back in Russia, Prokhorov told a Moscow TV station he thinks his investment in the Nets and Barclays Center could be worth $1 billion in five years.
