Lebron/D-Wade's impact on lottery pick

I've been thinking a lot about what kind of impact having a LBJ-type player would have on the potential top 4 pick. I must admit that if we sign Lebron, whoever ends up being picked by the Nets will always be a shadow behind LBJ and will not be able to develop properly. The only way for let's say John Wall to have a shot at becoming a superstar in this league is to give him the ball and live and die with his decisions. There's no way in GO NETS!!! that LBJ or Wade gives the last shot up to Wall or Turner, NO WAY. I guess the reason I made this thread is that I'd like to know your take on this subject. Are you guys willing to sacrifice our young studs' development for the signing of a star? Can John Wall have a similar impact compared to LBJ in Cleveland when he was drafted? What about Turner and the rest? Are you guys willing to hand in the keys to Lopez/Twill/Wall or Turner and build from there or just sign a max player and don't care about the youngsters' development on our team? These are all questions that need to be answered in order to no screw up "The plan."
