X-Rays Negative, Yi Out Indefinitely

Yi Jianlian left the game in the first quarter after spraining his left ankle underneath the Knick basket. He appeared to step on Wilson Chandler's foot while running back into defensive rebounding position. He had to be helped into the locker room by trainer Tim Walsh and assistant coach Roy Rogers. An X-ray was negative. Although Yi called the sprain, "not that bad", he couldn't predict when he will be back and is listed as "out indefinitely" as the Nets go on the road.
