Game 60 - Nets vs. Cavaliers - Wednesday, March 3, 7:30

The season is two-thirds done, the Nets are playing their best ball of the season and they now run into the Cavaliers and Magic. After beating Boston on the weekend, the team is full of optimism. At the very least, they'd like to do better vs. Cleveland than their cross-river rivals, who were down by as many as 49 Monday. It will be Cavs' third game without Shaq (hand). In the first two, they've averaged 125 points.

They will be playing small which means kick it to Brook for easy buckets.
112 to 89 Cavs

This is the FINAL GAME that Lebron will EVER PLAY
against the Nets.

according to PTI and other reliable sources, the knicks terrible loss will not affect their chance at bron bron. But, considering lebron prais about our young guys and team core, i think it does make some sort of a contribution in his final decision.
IMO, start CDR. show lebron we have a guy who can stop him, cuz he did last time, and prove to cdr he i wanted on this team.

I feel like our “best ball” was the beginning of the season, when we had no one playing… oh and a coach.

I want to see this this line up against the Cavs:
PG: DEVIN HARRIS
SG: CDR
SF: TERRENCE WILLIAMS
PF: JOSH BOONE
C: BROOK LOPEZ

PTI or reliable sources don’t know whats going on, only person who knows is LeBron and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know, because he’s thinking about winning the chip. But that Knick game showed him he can look forward to playing with Bill Walker who Knicks announcers feel is the second coming of Paul pierce lol.
Evan Turner wil be playing @ 9:00 on ESPN tonight as well, scout the kisdeven more, but he looks good his handle is ridiculous for a 6’7 dude.

Ohh yeah I think we will be competitive we match up well with them for some reason.

If Clevland play zone, it will be a blow out, cause we have a genious of a cotch.

It’s not going to be easy versus the Nets if your the Cavs. Nets beat Charloote twice Cavs lost to charlotte twice
Major factore of us losing was getting pounded by shaq and Illguskas both were on the floor versus Yi and Brook, now we have both our point guards ready to go C-lee wasn’t a factor vs. Cavs games anyway.
Nets rare win:
98-92 (If Hassell plays his against lebron.)

^lol at hassell trying to stop lebron. i know hes our so called best defender, but id rather see some youth get a shot at stopping the king.

The Ohio State announcers just said that Evam Turner has hinted to staying for his senior season. Imagine us getting the 2nd pick and having to pick Derrick Favors or Demarcus Cousins.

Yeah @ NET$MAN that would suck big time, damn Illinois hitting every three they take.

That Kid Diebler on Ohio State looks pretty good kind of redick like but he’s 6’6, shoot the lights out.

I’ve given up on Kiki. Obviously he wants to run up Yi’s stats and minimize CDR.
If he tries to showcase Yi, it would only serve as embarrassment in front of LeBron. LeBron should try to posterize Yi.
TWill and Boone should get more PT. TWill could impress LeBron. Boone is well rested.
Re: Evan Turner – he is starting to heat up. Even when not scoring, he is everywhere. Amazing how he gets so many rebounds. Announcer says that Turner is the Poster Child for College basketball, with everyone liking him.

@jerry25
if kiki were smart he would bench yi and start cdr. the fact is, if yi were playing even half as bad as douglas roberts, he would have been benched. but kiki will never give up on his bestie friend. he even admitted when he was a player he sucked, but hi coach kept playing hi and thats how he got better. Clearly, he is trying to do this to yi and is failing misrably.

@NET$MAN
Are you watching on ESPN? The ESPN announcers must have overheard the Ohio State announcers to spread that rumor.
Turner is #2 in all the mock drafts I’ve seen, so I doubt it.
Maybe Thorn should say that Turner should be #1 because he would fit in so well with the Nets.
I doubt Turner would do any better next year. Seniors get no respect in the draft.

Send yi back to china.
get wade and lebron.
pick john wall.
get a decent to very good coach.
waive simmons and battie.

@ Mr. omG
Sending Yi back to china can’t ensure that he will not come back to NBA.Send him to the Mars plz.

Courtney Lee defended Lebron the last time we played.
CDR needs to get aggressive. I’d rather he get benched scoring points instead of being passive(because no plays are run for him) because his defense isn’t good enough to excuse passive play on offense
by Mr. Dollar Bills on Mar 2, 2010 11:37 PM EST reply actions
I note a difference between a player playing passive (restrained effort) vs a player frozen out of the offense (no plays run for him).
Hope CDR returns to form against Cleveland tonite.

I should say:
Tonight is the FINAL GAME EVER that Lebron James will play against the Nets…
…wearing #23
by rightclue on Mar 3, 2010 12:39 PM EST reply actions
At this point in the season I think it would be a great idea to start Terrence Williams, match him up against Lebron and play him 35+ minutes. Let’s baptize this kid already.
