Queen Latifah Movie Premieres May 14
Add another date to the Nets' off season calendar. On May 14, "Just Wright", the Queen Latifah movie about the Nets, will have its premiere. It's a romantic comedy (as opposed to the tragic comedy we've experienced lately) about how a physical therapist, played by Newark's own Latifah, saves the Nets' season by rehabbing and then falling in love the team's star, played by Common. The movie, shot at the IZOD last summer, features Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Bobby Simmons, Rod Thorn, Tim Walsh and Lawrence Frank.

CGI
I love the shot of the arena when its packed. You can tell that was done with CGI. If you pause it on that shot you can see a couple of the same people sitting in other seats. Movie also looks pretty corny, but with me and my gf both being NETS fans Im sure we will end up seeing it as a date movie.

I love how Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade and Oh…Bobby Simmons are in the movie. Bobby must know somebody in the business
I’m pretty sure it’s just because he didn’t have anywhere else to be over the summer. I mean, come on, who wants to party with Bobby Simmons?

common
Common needs to stop taking bad roles and put out another album. Its been awhile since Universal Mind Control….for me at least.
hmm
“a physical trainer, played by Newark’s own Latifah,”
I wont see it. I’m not one for fantasy/sci fi movies
I might cry at this movie if
it has a scene where the Nets win the NBA championship!
