Game 49 - Nets @ Celtics - Friday, February 5, 7:30

Paul Pierce is be out with a bad foot, there are trade rumors surrounding Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett is still not himself, and Rajon Rondo says there are locker room issues. The Celtics are certainly having their problems, having won only four of the last 10. Still they're the Celtics and they've beat the Nets 11 straight times. Keyon Dooling is questionable for the Nets.

I will personally be directly comparing this to the last Nets VS Celtics outing with Frank at the helm, willing his team(or what was left of it) to a noble effort. I want a real coach again.

I have the unfortunate pleasure of having to attend a buddy’s moving away gathering at a local Boston bar tomorrow night. I will probably be the butt end of quite a few jokes. Sigh..

Nets lose by 40.

I just want them to play hard though – leave it out there on the floor. That’s all we Nets’ fans can ask for now.

@ Tim

As a last resort, you could tell them they sound like a bunch of Yankees fans..

Anyone watch GT game with opinion on Derrick Favors for PF if Nets get #3/#4 pick? He doesn’t seem quick enough to be a NBA PF.
I think he would only fit in as a backup to BLopez, at this point. Favors should stay in college another year.

From what I saw, I would take Cousins or no other Big, with the #3/#4 pick. Demarcus should be watched closely, for maturity, the rest of the NCAA season.

Cousins would be an All Star in no time, in the NBA, but would he be able to play alongside Brook? He certainly wouldn’t respect Yi.
