Lopez Gets High Praise

Brook Lopez is one of three NBA players who lead their teams in points, rebounds and blocks. The others are Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan. Nice company, too bad about that record. Still, Lopez is getting praise around the league. Pro Basketball News got both LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal to offer their encouragement and Lopez to respond: "It’s a huge compliment. It gives me a lot of confidence."

yes, lopezis certainly great player but he must work on
1) not being a little baby on evry call
2)passing the now every now and again and notr being a selfish little baby
3) becoming a team leader

If you read the article it includes blocks and Lee doesn’t lead his team in blocks Jeffries does.

The losing has gotten to Brook he’s visibly frustrated.
He deserves praise for his play on the court he’d be an all star if the team’s record was better. Sounds like the losing has gotten to some of the fans if you’re complaining about the team’s only bright spot.

Only bright?

If the comment is on VC then I would have agree with you 100%

Brook is good but still have a long way to go. If we still have VC and get rid of Devin Harris, Brook will be an elected of all star this year cause our record would be a lot better. I really think all we need is a pass first pg.

The line up look like this

- Pass first PG
- C lee – For defense
- VC – Draw double team and go to guy in clutch time
- Yi – Spread the floor using his range. penetration as VC will open up the lane by drawing double team
- All offensive Center!

2nd unit
- Dooling / Twill
- CDR
- Hayes / Twill
- Hump
- Boone

As we have Dooling, CDR, Hayes in 2nd unit, we will still have fire power. Twill can be the guy who attacks the basket. Hump and Boone for defense.

We would have at least at .500 record and competing for the playoff spot…..

That’s a nice fantasy but the reality is the team sucks donkey balls.
Focusing on this summer the team needs a better power forward and perimeter shooting. I like Evan Turner but if they get the 3rd pick take Cousins and put him next to Brook for the furure.
They should pik a shooting guard or small forward perimeter threat with the Dallas pick.
The team’s going nowhere with Yi at power forward and no perimeter shooting.

Brook will only get better with time. I’m excited about the possibilities of his development….that has probably taken a huge step back this year thanks to Rod Thorn and Kiki

and then you wonder why no one wants to come here.

This stink won’t wear off in the summer.

Damn! That’s awesome! Of course he has alot to learn. I don’t see why some people are so hard on him, being it’s only his 2nd season. And he’s doing a great job compare to the other sophmores, over-all. I can’t wait til we get a coach and get some chemistry going.

Lopez is good but it is unlucky that he didn’t come to us a year earlier. Haris is a bad example of a leader. if he had been here with JKidd it would have shown him what a leader means.

It is the job of the best player to make the player’s around him better. Duncan puts up similar numbers like him only the impact his numbers have on the teams record is immense and meaningful.

Lopez’s numbers are full of crap. If he really played well in all the games then we should have had a lot more wins. we should have averted the 72-73 Sixer’s record by now.

The Guy cried and created a big mess when Yi was getting touches he is the reason why YI didn’t continue to do what he was doing.

Stephon Marbury was a scary talent but he is currently playing in China, point is Lopez needs to emulate Duncan’s Kidd’s personalities and get away from his marbury / harris like attitude
