T-Will, Farmar in Holiday Spirit
Terrence Williams has donated $10,000, which was matched by the NETS Foundation, for the purchase of $20,000 worth of toys for children ages 18 months to 14 years old through Newark Now’s Brighter Holiday.
Williams and Sly will distribute the toys to children on Saturday, December 11 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the JFK Recreation Center at 211 West Kinney Street in Newark, NJ. In addition, the Nets held a recent toy drive at a game to benefit this event.
"I’m happy to give back to the kids of Newark," said Williams. "No child should ever be without a toy during the holidays and I hope this helps to put smiles on the children’s faces." Later, T-Will tweeted that he's giving another $10,000 to the city to help school children understand the importance of Black History Month.
Meanwhile, teammate Jordan Farmar and Santa Claus will provide presents to children who have muscle and bone disorders and lupus at Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan during the hospital’s annual pediatric holiday party.

Stuff like this makes me happy...
people should always give back. I am glad to see the team is embracing the Newark community. Why don’t we give free tickets to all the school kids? The Arena would fill up every night and be loud.
Yea when I go with my friends, we usually cheer loud
But I noticed that most people attending are grown up or with family… We need college atmosphere!!!

Thorpe says that if there was a redraft, Favors would be taken second. And wow, Turner isn’t even in the top 10…

T-Will and Jordan
Great duo on the court, greater duo off the court. Even with all his faults, Terrence does have a big heart and he means well.
