Harris Not Playing Tuesday

Stay connected for news and updates

Devin Harris said he wasn't worried about aggravating his sore foot by playing Tuesday against the 76ers, but he did admit that he's having trouble changing direction.  Describing the problem as "pretty much a bruise", Harris said he wants to play but will defer to Tim Walsh, the Nets trainer.

An hour before game time, Stefan Bondy tweeted that Harris would not play.  Conor Orr tweeted that sitting Harris was a "precautionary measure".

"I dove for a ball and kind of landed on the corner of the court," said Harris in explaining how he hurt himself.  Jordan Farmar will get the start at point guard.
