T-Mac Joins Nets in LeGrand Effort
One of the Nets' goals in donating $75,000 to the Eric LeGrand Believe Fund is to encourage others, in and out of the sports community to make their own contributions. Tracy McGrady, who watched the Nets' courtside check presentation Wednesday, has pledged $20,000 individually.
LeGrand is the Rutgers football lineman who has been paralyzed from the neck down since making a tackle during the Scarlet Knights' game vs. Army. The Star-Ledger's Steve Politi reported the contribution.

He might be sort of washed up as a basketball player now, but he was once great. Seems like a very decent guy, and so is his cousin VC.
