Sussman Sez: Around the World in 8(0) Days
The Nets are back from China and so is the Sez, who recaps the world tour with his latest blog post. You saw the photos and the games, but the Nets' VP of PR was there eating the food and watching the TV.

Thanks for posting this
Although you need a semester’s course in how to speak Sussman to translate some of this stuff, I love the Suss’ take because he gives you a good sense of what goes on behind the scenes and also he always gives a good interview during the Nets pregame radio broadcasts.
The Great Wall was an amazing experience…but two moments will always shine brightest in The Sez’s collective memory. The first would be the cable car ride to the Wall itself…the car contained myself, strength coach Rich Dalatri, player personnel director Greg Polinsky and our leader, GM Billy King…and after the third or fourth jolt, as the climb got higher and higher, Billy decides at that moment to ask, “When was the last time you think this lift was inspected?”
ActuaLOL. I’d like to hear about what the kids thought of the Great Wall, seeing that only Joe Cool and Zoubek were the only ones brave enough to go all the way to the top.

I thought the same thing going up that lift
And you can take your own personal toboggan down on a metal slide instead of the cable car. The entrance to the slide has something like “You are responsible for any injury.”
I kept thinking, there’s no way they could get away with this in the U.S. Just allowing someone to fly down the mountain as fast as you want isn’t exactly the best idea for lawsuits.

that's madness dude
I’m all for seeing the wonders of this world but that’s a bit much

Many years ago you were allowed to climb the Pyramids in Egypt...
It’s nice to see that the Chinese still have a sense of freedom in their country, that somehow we have lost in our country… LOL
Well...?!
Did you take toboggan ride down?! You left out the best part, man!

i would have been scared to death myself

Nets' VP of PR ?
How can you be the the VP of P.R. and not have the ability to communicate?
I find him entertaining, but rarely read his “stuff”, because it is not an enjoyable read. In fact it gives me a headache…
I can never read his stuff
my eyes glaze over. also that animated logo is, shall we say, not good.
"A little boy went out to play. When he opened his door, he saw the world. As he passed through the doorway, he caused a reflection. Evil was born. Evil was born, and followed the boy."
