Beyond the team, coaches (and some family members), the front office and minority owner Bruce Ratner (who's also looking for investors), the Nets have executives from some of their sponsors onboard one of two team charters. Some, like Ratner, have flown via Moscow, others, including sponsors, flew on a separate plane to Beijing.
Nets CEO Brett Yormark and Chairman of the Board Christophe Charlier even hosted a private dinner for the CEOs at Maison Boulud in Beijing, one of China's finest restaurants. The team is using the trip to thank the sponsors. CEOs on the trip include those from McDonald's, Izod and CURE Auto Insurance, among others. Also reported on board for the short trip between Beijing and Guangzhou: David Stern.
