Around SBN: FSU To Big 12 'Inevitable,' According To Report

NBA.com posts a short video of the Nets visiting the Great Wall of China... in a variety of hats. "I think it's pretty cool," says Derrick Favors. The Nets Dancers also took part.

They are having far too much fun, as this video of Jordan Farmar shows.

Now I don't have to re-post the photo of Chris Sheridan at that Great Wall.

Looks like some Army person lent TWill his cap.

Chinese like Americans but go crazy for tall American NBA players.
Probably cameras on them everywhere.

I hope the players don’t believe they would be getting real Jade at the souvenir stands.

if Sheridan is there

just throw him out of the wall. I heard that there’s a tiger somewhere outside the Wall.

"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team,'"

Great video, thanks for the link

Favors continues to bore me to tears, on and off the court.. (note: I’m optimistic his play on court will get better but I’m not so sure about those interviews.)
Star of the video is whoever shouts “THE CHAMP IS HERE”, I think it’s DJames but I’m not sure.

Avery is too funny.

I had a GRAYT time. And those were some pretty hats.

Speaking of great Walls...

I curse the basketball gods for not giving us John Wall… He looks great playing with the Wizards right now… Had a beautiful steal that led to a dunk that straight up defied gravity. Sigh…. “what if”….

But, hey, there is next year. Irving is great, so is Barnes.

Favors

“Seeing all these old rocks still standing, it’s pretty cool”

For some reason he is hilarious to me.

Is that what he said?

Someday Favors will say something really intelligent and people would miss it.
I just block out what he says, and will wait for some explosive moves on the Court.

hahahha

You’re not alone. I cracked up… Between the hat and the way he’s looking around and the way it comes out… Awesome.

Karl Pilkington has a say about this:

 “Being honest with you, it’s not The Great Wall of China, it’s an alright wall; it’s The Alright Wall of China.”

Twill has said hes afraid of heights

in the video he goes " i think im going to fall, im too high"

I didn’t think it was scary. I think you are only about 50 ft off the ground/brush at any time.

Besides TWill must get a kick out of climbing up stairs.
Didn’t he have to do a lot of climbing at the IZOD when he was a bad boy?

What is really scary to me is driving over the Outerbridge at 60 mph.

I'm thinking more about Brook

They don’t construct the walls for 7-footers, you know. LOL at all the guys’ faces as they headed down the wall, walking sideways.

Nets = Global
Knicks = Local

D-James looks rather stylish sporting the Genghis Khan hat. Definitely goes with his personality!
