Stein: Yi Joining Lopez and Harris on Nets' "Untouchable" List

Amid rumors the Nets are "peddling" Josh Boone, among others, Marc Stein says Yi Jianlian's surge is putting him on the Nets' "untouchable" list, right behind Brook Lopez and Devin Harris. "While Lopez remains New Jersey's only clear-cut untouchable," Stein writes, "Yi suddenly is pushing Devin Harris--who has taken an undeniable step back this season amid all the losing--for the No. 2 slot on that list".

Aw crap. We’re stuck with this guy, too?
Why can’t another player who actually tries on defense be on the untouchable list?

Yes, the team is filled with great young defenders…Sean Williams, Terrence Williams, Chris Douglas-Roberts, even Brook Lopez. They are all flawed…and they are all young.

Harris is on his way out. Get over it.
Nets management is getting to see up close and personal how these players react in adverse conditions.
Yi is at least trying. Harris is mailing it in.

Once the Nets get Wall, Harris is going to be traded along with Lopez for Bosh. Then Lebron comes along and Wade tags on as well. Salary cap? They can take a slight paycut… in my fantasy…
With Wall playing with 3 sure fire future hall of famers, the Nets become the new 2007-2008 Celtics.

???
I do not like to get personal, and I apologize, but how would anyone trade for Bosh next year unless it would be in a sign and trade, which would not demand 1 player a year removed from an all star appearance and 1 definitely headed to the game….
Also, Lopez is not going anywhere for anyone. No way. And why would we want him to? He has Bosh potential.
@ everyone else
Like it or not, Harris is here to stay unless we get an All Star type player in return… follow the signs from the powers that be… He’s an “untouchable”… he’s the one expected to make Lopez/Yi work…. he’s the one they’re doing interviews with showing how much he wants to stay…
Why isn’t CDR untouchable???? I think he’s shown himself more valuable than Yi, and, arguably, Harris…
Yi seems injury prone, which certainly factors into his value… and Harris probably hit his cieling last year… even if he gets back to the same ballpark, this is CDR’s first year actually playing… so why not CDR???
What do people have against the kid????

My dream Nets team with not have Harris or CDR.
Proky has bigger dreams then mine…

Harris, CDR and T-Will have been skating on thin ice.
We can go 3-33 without them, and without their attitudes.
Watch and see…
