Game 36 - Nets @ Hornets - Friday, January 8, 8:00

It's hard to draw any positives from the Nets last two games. After playing hard vs. the Cavs on Saturday, the Nets have lain down and died against the Bucks and Hawks. Now, they face the suddenly resurgent Hornets. They won their fourth game in a row by defeating the Thunder, 97-92, Wednesday in Oklahoma City and are looking to go over .500 for the first time this season. Their chances are good.

Bring Frank back.

Kiki is the worst coach I’ve ever seen. With Frank this team would be doing a lot better.

I’m giving pyschonets ups for an obscure Seinfeld reference.

Oops. I meant 3-32! GO NETS!

by BringBackFrank! on Jan 7, 2010 9:08 PM EST reply actions

You can put 3-33 and you’d still be right.

sad thing is that there’s a 99.99% chance im watching this game.

by Andy on Jan 8, 2010 7:39 AM EST reply actions

LOL. Yeah, I live in Vienna Austria and there a 99.99% chance I’m watching too. At two in the morning! To see…what…exactly? Basketball? Nah…not really…a team? Nah…oh yeah! My favorite Tellanovella Soap Opera!!! Keeping up with the Nets! Will Brooke finally break down and cry on the court? Will Courtney Lee and Yi get in a fight? Will Devin yell at Yi again for cutting to the basket as he’s dribing to the lane and clogging it for him? Will Yi finally slap some of his teammates across the face and wake them up? Will Kiki offer up some good quality cheesy hollywood advice like Aunt May in Spiderman? Will CDR go crazy and come to work with a crow bar…could there be a Columbine NBA edition in the making? WOW! I love this show!!!! Lopez had better get that Best Actors award…He’s the best crier since Tom Cruise man!

Well…What can I do? I really like Lopez, and the rest of the young guys intruige me…And there’s always the fools gold though lurking around that maybe Devin Harris will take over a game like last year…or that Yi will take over a game offensively…But seriously…You couldn’t script this stuff even if you tried. Best season EVER to be a Nets Fan as far as drama and entertainment go. I’m surprised Nets aren’t on TNT more often…seeing as how TNT is the ‘We know drama’ channel…I think properly handled, with proper advertisement, the Nets season could compete with the top drama shows on Prime Time.

@me & MayLay

Another european here who’s going to sacrifice a couple hours of his life to watch what will most likely be another complete shambles.

Typical that I’ve watched virtually every game this season, yet missed two of our three wins whilst away on holiday.

God knows why we bother. :D

by UKNJ on Jan 8, 2010 11:42 AM EST reply actions

Wow…cool to see that we have more people here from the same time zone…I’m not the only sucker staying up till five am watching the Nets lose!

Interesting that the Nets have so much International support…for such a bad franchise (league history wise)… I lived in NY for 6 years which is how I got into NBA and NJNets.

Well…they better play HARD tonight cause me and UKNJ gonna be burning the midnight oil to see this!!! Sacrificing our saturday morning!! Be real tired on Saturday you know!! Better play hard!!

…I wish I could be in that locker room…with a loaded arenas…that would get them playing hard…compete or else…

GO NETS! IF YOU PLAY HARD YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHANCE! BUT PLAY H A R D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Looking in your dirrection Devin…it starts with you – unfortunately)

bring Frank back? i agree but pppl were overwhelemed with joy when he was fired and complimented kiki whent he Nets won. It’s ridiulous that ur going to keep changing your mind… if frank comes back youll say fire him.

“Devin Brown maintains his focus, helps Hornets go on winning streak” article above – geez I read it as Devin harris – ha! It might as well read harris instead of brown. result the same. We have a pool at work which is the next game they’ll win. Unfortunately we’ve all picked the same game.

by fastbreak on Jan 8, 2010 4:13 PM EST reply actions

I know there is NO gambling policy here lol..but Im wagering $120 today that the Nets reach at least 90 points today…

Give Lopez some touches down low over okafor..and Yi to take West off the dribble..

Go Nets! lol

by Akara on Jan 8, 2010 5:17 PM EST reply actions

definitely laughing at “bring frank back.”
seriously? everyone wanted his head when he was 0-18.
i was unaware that lawrence frank was actually red auerbach reincarnated.

regardless, CP3 will no doubt destroy devin tonight. forget the humphries deal, the only thing imminent right now is another loss.
