Joe Favorito, a sports marketing consultant, thinks New Jersey could support a D-League franchise after the Nets move. Favorito writes "David Stern has hinted at D-League expansion in his native state in the past". He suggests as a venue the Teaneck Armory, where the Nets started as the Americans in 1967-68. Who would own it? Good question. Some NBA teams are buying their own D-League teams.
