Game 45 - Wizards @ Nets - Friday, January 29, 8:00

Winning streak?! After their most satisfying (only) win of 2010, the Nets take on a team in much worse shape, the Wizards. The Wiz roster has been pistol-whipped but they weren't a very good team even before the Gilbert Arenas affair, having won only 15 games. In their last game, they lost to the Clippers by 14. "We're just not getting it done," says Antawn Jamison. Devin Harris is questionable. Courtney Lee will play.

I think Foye running the show makes them a better team… Mike Miller is back as well.

We’ve played the Wiz several times in the past decade when they were shorthanded and they torched us everytime. One time it was Juan Dixon, then it was Darius Songaila we made look like a star. This year it was Blatche. A team that can put Miller, Jamison, Foye and Butler on the floor is at least competitive with us. They also have Nick Young. Basically they may suck against decent teams but if we play no defense they have enough firepower to obliterate the Nets.

Heres to hoping Courtney Lee plays limited minutes…

@Net Income
That was the greatest game preview I’ve ever seen. The remark about the Wizards lineup being pistol-whipped was genius. Kudos, sir.

I hope Kiki sticks with the game plan of play well and you stay on the floor. We need Yi and Hump to hold Blatche and Jamison. I think this is a winnable game. I still hate all the Devin trash talk. If we get Amare and Rudy Gay and Devin becomes a guy who is shooting 44% from the field and averaging 9 assists.

Easy formula:
Play, Brook, Humphries, Hayes, Terrence and Keyon together for more than 30 minutes each and we probably can beat this team.

id love to see another win and see terrence start over lee. CDR goes back to his natural position, the 2 and Terrence takes the SF or pint forward position, if you will. Yi should start though bcuz humphries provides a much needed spark off the bench.
I hope the nets can come off a win with another win and not get too happy they actually won a game. This should be fun to watch.
Prediction:
Nets win 101 to 96

I believe that CDR should come off the bench. He gives us some offensive punch, but, he lacks on the defensive side. CDR’s hustle is not always there and I think Terrence plays other guards really well and keeps them in front of him.

I want C Lee to stay home…….top that
In a serious way we know that C Lee and Harris are not
doing much and lock the chemistry aspect around this team we
have to be smart and do not say anything negative about the
them so they can retain their value

Antwan Jaimison is looking for a move. He would be a great addition for the Nets. Anybody know if he is a free agent this year or next?
