Harris Day-to-Day After MRI is Negative

An MRI taken on Devin Harris' right wrist has come back negative, meaning no structural damage. Harris, who missed the second half of the Warrior game and the entire Jazz game, will get treatment on the wrist and is day-to-day, meaning decisions will be made each day on his availability. The Nets play again on Wednesday vs. the Clippers. Harris has been bothered by the wrist for weeks.

I really want the Nets to hold onto him until the Draft but I’m so sick of hearing about his injuries……What , Is he made out of glass ???

At this point… it doesn’t really matter whether Devin Harris play or not, because we will still end up with the worst record in NBA history. I say we just have him out until he is fully recovered, whether it be a few games or a lot of games. I am also tired of hearing how Devin isn’t 100%, which many say is the reason for his lackluster plays. So I say, let him sit, and let him recover. When he is fully recovered than we will let him play again, hopefully proving that his horrible plays are a result of his injury.

There’s no difference with him on or off the floor, we still get trashed.

From that Yahoo piece:

“Injuries have a lot to do with that, no doubt, but just watch this guy in a screen and roll (either working, or defending one). There’s no attack, there. He’s just going through the motions, waiting for this miserable season to end.”

This is what I have been saying all season long.

I think Harris, like Yi, somehow got labeled as a star replacement due to the trades that were made for each of them. Expectations are way too high.

Truth is that Harris has a long way to go to be anything close to a star without another star on the team, he is not like D Wade who will put the whole team on his back to win. I also don’t think he even has the green light to control the ball right now.

This team is so messed up from top to bottom that it is killing potential in a lot of the players. Unfortunate.

A short blurb on Rotoworld.com, maybe some day Nets fans will realize that injuries are part of the game, and for a player to go through a season not getting multiple injuries is a rarity :

Letting Your Guard Down – Injuries to guards seem to be all the rage right now. Devin Harris, Leandro Barbosa, Brandon Roy, Jerryd Bayless, Derrick Rose, Delonte West, Mo Williams, Jason Kidd, Ben Gordon, Will Bynum, Monta Ellis, Anthony Morrow, Sebastian Telfair, Eric Gordon and Nate Robinson are all on the injury report heading into Week 14. Big man Joakim Noah has a foot problem that will give owners a headache this week as well. The latest report is that he doesn’t sound too optimistic about playing on Monday. If you own any of these players, be sure to check out the latest news blurbs about them on Rotoworld.

To Mr.Hundred Dollar Bills…..I agree with you…The problem I see is that Harris has been going through the motions ,waiting for this season to end since the first game of the season….

To Mr Dollar bills….I’m not trying to insult your screen name but I thought that it would be appropriate to change it to Mr.Hundred Dollar Bills now that Prokhorov is taking over……I guess that I can be NetFan100 now…..

Can you really blame Harris for going through the motions? I don’t think so, Thorn himself can’t wait for this season to end.
