TWill To Get More Minutes...and Says He "Gets It"

To those who think Terrence Williams should get a ticket to Springfield, Mass: Rod Thorn doesn't agree. Thorn said Friday he's happy with the "winning basketball" TWill has played recently, promising that he'll get "important minutes" if he keeps it up. Of course, Thorn also read the rookie the riot act this week. Williams says he got it. The current road trip has become his personal listening tour.

Great news for twil!! Kiki sounds bias against twill maybe cause he is closer to him on the court. I think twill needs to be a spark off the bench if this team is to win any games at all.

HopEfully he will be starting at the 3 and cdr at the 2 before the season is over.

Kiki has no bias. he’s just the guy who has to deal with his immaturity.

He’s shown flashes, and has an interesting upside. The one thing I wish he carried over from Louisville was his killer instinct near the rim. Watch his highlight tapes on YouTube, he rocked the rim like no other player in college. He would dunk over people and get the entire stadium cranked up. He’s made great moves off the dribble, but fails to go up with that confidence and authority. Much of that probably has to do with his youth and inexperience, not to mention the daily losing. His vision, rebounding and strength are all impressive, especially considering how depressing it must be to play for a 3 win team. I have a good feeling about TWill for the remainder of this season, and beyond.

I don’t believe in sending TWill to the dleague. His biggest issue to me is the maturity and professionalism, so more than anything else he needs to be guided by the likes of Dooling, Hayes, Hassell. You put him in the dleague and he is surrounded by other young players, with no clear direction, in a strange new place, with a lot of time on his hands. Its not the best of situations. In any case, I have been impressed by his natual abilities, in a better situation I think he would look like much better. After Lopez, I think he has the most natural ability on the team. If he is dedicated in working on his game and being professional, he can be very good. I like his future.

KiKi has to deal with Twill’s immaturity, true, but sometimes that is what a coach who is supposedly there to develop players have to deal with. Jee! He is not here to win games, and he is not here to give directions…uh..what is he here for? Oh, I get it, he is here to give Courtney Lee and YI Jianlian undeserved minutes, right?

Kiki means TWill is not feeding his boy Yi. Don’t feed Yi=on the bench.

I believe his attitude is partially the result of no veteran leadership and no respect for the coaches. This should have been dealt with in the locker room. It shouldn’t take Thorn to tell this get to get it together or have his ticket punched out of here.

Based on his early showing, he has the ability. Let’s hope he turns it around and shows what he can do.

twill should start tonight…

I really like what I saw from him last night. If he can just start hitting some shots… big draft pick.

T-Will is a bust. He can’t shoot, and if he wasn’t able to improve his shooting in 4 years of college I don’t see any reason to think he will ever be able to learn how to shoot. His ceiling as a player is another Desmond Mason – and that’s only if he matures into a professional.

Start him as a point guard.

@A.S

your comment is so crucial and harsh, LOL.

I got confidence in Terrence Williams.

I believe that this kid can turn the corner. Good to see some positive things coming from him.

T-Will and no one else on the Nets will get better with the current coaching staff. The team has already quit on Kiki.
