Drejer in Comeback Bid

Stay connected for news and updates

We last heard from Christian Drejer, the Nets' 2004 draft pick, two years ago when in his only game against NBA competition he scored 23 points as Virtus Roma lost to the Raptors in a European exhibition game. A few months later, he retired at 25. Now, after enduring his 12th ankle surgery, Drejer has signed an 18-month contract with his old Danish club, hoping to begin a comeback. It's believed the Nets retain his rights.
