Mikhail Prokhorov has yet to be approved as Nets owner by the NBA Board of Governors, but he needed to sign off on the Humphries-Williams trade, say sources. The deal added $1.4 million to the Nets' payroll this year. Now, Ken Berger writes, NBA execs are asking if "the team is no longer encumbered from making trades by the pending ownership change." All that suggests Prokhorov is now in charge.
