Davis Joins Blalock, Hamilton at Training Camp

Bennet Davis, a 6'9" Bahamian shot blocker who played in the D-League and Mexican League last year, rounds out the Nets' training camp invites. Davis joins Will Blalock, a 6'1" point guard who's bounced around Europe and the D-League since getting a chance with Detroit in 2006, and Brian Hamilton, a 6'6" defensive specialist who tried out for the Nets last fall then played in the Philippines.

cdr loves playing against hamilton because of his defense. hamilton, blalock or bennett davis wont make the team, but its good to bring in guys who will fight for a spot, if one opens which could happen, while also pushing current players to match their ‘fight’ in practice.
