As long ago as last April, there were rumors that some in the Nets wanted to replace Lawrence Frank with Ettore Messina, who twice coached CSKA Moscow to the European championship. Now, with Messina's old boss, Mikhail Prokhorov, close to owning the Nets, shouldn't Frank be nervous? He says no, that he has to focus on the present, who he has to work with and let the future work itself out.
