Nets Deny Najera Permission to Play for Team Mexico

The coach of Team Mexico said Sunday the Nets have refused to give Eduardo Najera permision to play for the national team in the FIBA Americas Cup starting Wednesday in Puerto Rico. "He would be wonderful to have. I know he really wanted to play, but his career comes first," said Arturo Guerrero. The Pacers' Earl Watson won't play either. He failed to get a Mexican passport in time.
