Mavs' Playoff Success Leads to a Re-examining of "The Trade"

It's happening again, the Harris-Kidd debate. Because the Nets aren't in the playoffs and the Mavs beat the (Manu-less) Spurs, the revisionist historians are out and about. Bill Simmons still thinks the Nets won it but isn't sure it was so lopsided any more. Dallas reporters are gleeful, even those who hated the trade. Matt McQueeny wonders if free agent Kidd will jilt his new lover..."no romance without finance".
