Game 74 - Bucks @ Nets - Monday, March 30, 7:30

Two teams with their playoff hopes on life support will play a game Monday at the Meadowlands. That's about it. With nine games to go, the Nets are five games out and the Bucks four and a half. The Nets have lost four straight, the Bucks five. So complete has the Nets decline been that they are now only a game ahead of the Knicks and two ahead of the Raptors.

carter and harris 20 minutes each for the rest of the season…

@ Andy
I dont agree with that just yet. If we lose this one than its time to start playing the rook 20 plus.

For such a young team, you have to instill the message in the youth that you have to play hard in every game, regardless of records, and let your effort sort out the wins. Carter didn’t stop at the end of last year and I doubt he wants to stop now. Now I hope that the Nets lose in style the remainder of the games which will equate to higher draft pick, Frank’s long awaited layoff (Eddie Jordan anyone?), and maybe VC getting traded to a real playoff team in the offseason! That being said, GO BUCKS!

Playoffs…HAH!!!
Can CDR get 30+ minutes tonight??? sheesh
This season cant end soon enough and Frank can’t be given his pinkslip soon enough, maybe we can get a real coach in here

Frank needs to go asap. Harris needs to pass and Carter should get 20 minutes is about right. More pass inside to Lopez and let him work to get his shots.

If this team can’t beat a Minn team missing Al Jefferson and Randy Foye, I really don’t see the point in attending any more games. The 2010 training camp starts tonight.

“Czar Says:
Gave my tickets away."
LOL, the Nets brass has been doing that all season, I guess now its time for the fans to follow suit!!

I am still going to watch this game, just to see our playoff hopes die.
Is it better for the team to tank the remaining games so our chances of getting a top pick would be higher, or continue to try and win every game?
I haven’t been following much with the NCAA or college basketball this year. How is this year’s draft looking? As good as last year, or is it worst?

i like what the other article said about lopez being the focus of offence 60 percent and harris 40 percent for next year, notice that leves no room for vince. they do need to trade him to a contender. vince has been great to this organization. we have to win tonight, we all know jefferson is gonna try and go off let him get his and limit villanueva, sessions and the rest of em

I’ll be at the game tonight. I still enjoy watching the games. I just want to see a good game. The last game I went to was the philly game that Devin hit the half court shot. That’s why I love sports… Ya never know.
As for VC going to a contender… I could care less. If we could get Eric Gordon I’d send him to the Clips and wish him well…

I also will be at the game and I was at the Devin shot game but I think I was at another since. Why don’t I scream fire Frank and you scream keep Frank. LOL

Frank and Vince Carter need to go I mean Vince Carter clearly isnt selling tickets and since he is “captain” he wont give anyone a shot. Keep smiling Vince just keep smiling you are happy 9 more games then its time to relax with your big check.

I am here at the Izod early. Had a burger at Red robin up the road. Noticed Michelle. Lots of kids lined up for her autograph.

games over. anyone who wants to see how the rooks do in 12 minutes(4th quarter) keep watching, if not please dont waste your time
by derek on Mar 30, 2009 9:14 PM EDT reply actions
Blowout loss but the ROOKIES PLAYED BETTER than the starters! CDR game high scorer. Ball moved much better with the rookies playing in 4th qtr. Yi, Sean, even Mo Ager scored but it was too late to overcome 23 pt halftime Bucks lead.
PLEASE LET THE ROOKIES PLAY!!!! The vets seem indifferent to playing with any real energy.
